This holiday house with a sauna is idyllically situated on a 3000m² natural site with forest, by a little pond near the Karjalainen and Saarinen lakes. Right near the house there is a little gravel road with little traffic that takes you right to the house. The house is quietly situated close to nature. The owner lives about 400 metres away. The second house belonging to the same owner (atraveo no. 1018935) is about 200 metres from this house. Enjoy undisturbed peace and quiet in the midst of an idyllic forest landscape.

The cosy house decorated in a typical Finnish style provides 120m2 of living space and can accommodate eight people. The three bedrooms provide a double bed (160 x 200cm) and four single beds (80 x 200cm). A cot can also be provided. The living room has a sofa that can be converted into a sofa bed (140 x 190cm). It also has a brick-built fireplace and a dining space. The adjoining, open kitchen is fully-equipped with a stove, oven, fridge with freezer compartment, coffee machine, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher for your convenience. The bathroom has a window, a walk-in shower and a WC. There is also a separate guest toilet. Each room can be heated with an electric radiator and you can also use the fireplace in the living room, which exudes not only warmth but also a cosy and homely atmosphere. What could be more pleasant in the evening than sitting in front of the fire?

The house is surrounded by a spruce forest. The forested site is a paradise for children and provides plenty of space for playing in nature. Right behind the house, just ten metres away, there is a little pond. The water can be rather cold, but it is so clean that you can swim in it. An outdoor grill is available. Enjoy the Finnish summer outside on the roofed and furnished terrace. Note that there can be some flies and mosquitoes during the warm season. You can park right by the house. The site is not fenced, but you can bring a pet at your own risk. Dogs should be kept on the leash.

You can relax in the sauna after an active day. If you need the Internet, it should be possible to receive mobile Internet access through a Finnish network.

There is a public sandy beach for swimming at Lake Karjalainen 5km away. The water in the lake is very clean. Lake Saarinenjärvi is 500 metres away, with a rowing boat for shared use. The Tahko resort if aobut 20km from the house and offers a range of activities all year round such as golf, water sport, an indoor pool, skiing and extreme sports. It is 11km to the nearest village with a grocery shop and a little fish and meat market. It is 20km to a larger grocery shop, a café, a bakery and a wine shop where you can buy wine and other alcoholic drinks. You can go fishing, on boat tours, swimming and paddling, play hide and seek in the forest or gather aromatic and wild fruits – so guests of all ages can discover the secrets of Finland.
