This is a premium holiday apartment in a guesthouse in the centre of the climatic spa town Sankt Andreasberg in the Oberharz, close to the alpne ski resort Matthias-Schmidt-Berg and the Jordanshöhe and Sonnenberg cross-country skiing trails. The tastefully designer apartment with quality fittings affords a view of the vibrant centre. Owing to the ideal location in the centre, many restaurants and amenities await your visit within just a few minutes’ walk. The accommodation is surrounded by cycling and walking paths, as well as many leisure facilities, so it is suitable for a relaxing or active stay in any season.



The apartment certified as four-star for two people by the German Tourism Association is on the second floor and provides 65m² of living space. The apartment was newly renovated in 2015 and comprises a bedroom with a box spring double bed, an open living and dining room with a kitchen, as well as a daylight shower room with modern fittings and a WC. The interior of the attic apartment appears exceptionally cosy, owing to the sloped ceilings, exposed wooden beams, parquet flooring, modern lighting with ceiling spotlights and the comfortable furnishing in an elegant rustic style, so you will feel at home on arrival. The bedroom has a generous box spring double bed (180 x 200cm) with antiallergenic bedding. It has bedside tables and reading lamps on either side, so you can read a good book before going to sleep. A three-door wardrobe provides ample storage space for your luggage. Two chairs and a wall mirror round off the bedroom. The bathroom is fitted with a fully glazed shower cubicle with a rain shower, a window, a WC and a washing machine. The wall-mounted sensor mirror switches on automatically when you step in front of the washbasin, providing pleasant and clear light. The centrepiece of the apartment is the open living and dining room with an integrated kitchen unit, where you can sit comfortably on a leather three-seater sofa and relax together, with the smart TV with a USB port and a stereo system providing entertainment and the wall-mounted bio-ethanol fireplace exuding a cosy atmosphere. The dining table with four chairs invites you to enjoy meals together. The open built-in kitchen enables practical self-catering with a dishwasher, a microwave with a grill function, a fridge with a freezer compartment, a coffee and tea macine, a Samowar tea maker, an egg boiler, a kettle, a toaster, and plenty of glasses, crockery, pots, pans and cutlery. Please note that the electric stove does not have an oven. A firmly mounted safe, free wireless Internet access and a laundry station with an iron, ironing board and clothes stand are provided.



There are public parking spaces by the house, as well as a large car park about 60 metres away.



If there are three people, a supplementary bed can be provided for the third adult, or a cot. All the rooms have radiators. A special feature of this holiday accommodation is the team who own it, who can help you plan day trips or arrange hiking guides or ski instructors. In winter to can borrow a sledge and in summer two Nordic walking poles. A drinks delivery service is also available, with a price list. You are greeted with a welcome drink on arrival.



The mountain roads in the region are popular among motorcyclists. Owing to the ideal location in the centre, there are cafés and restaurants just 50 metres away awaiting your visit. You can do shopping 350 metres away. It is 500 metres to a cable car and a downhill ski piste. The A7 motorway is about 50km away, about a 40-minute drive.
