Charming holiday property consisting of two apartments, in a mountainous location with a panoramic view

This is a detached property with a holiday apartment and a holiday studio. You can benefit from a wonderful panorama during a relaxing holiday in natural, mountainous surroundings above a mountain village on the east coast of the Peloponnese. The village is about 300 metres above the coastal town Paralia Tyrou, whose beach is a few kilometres away.

The two apartments are comfortably and cosily furnished and exude plenty of Mediterranean charm. They have separate entrances and private terraces, on a romantic garden site with public parking spaces right by the house. Holiday apartment atraveo no. 1137550 has one bedroom and an open sleeping area, accommodating up to five people within 110m² of living space, while the studio no. 1137550 measures 45m² and welcomes two people.

In the outdoor area you can enjoy an extensive view of green mountain slopes down towards the harbour town and the sea. The site features colourfully blossoming flowers, a mulberry tree several hundred years old, nut trees and a connecting door between the two terraces. If the other apartment is free during your stay, you can use the other terrace, with use of a gravel area for boules and a pizza stove.

The immediate surroundings are charactersed by wonderful mountains just 300 metres above sea level. You can go on extensive walks directly from the house. The mountain village has a football ground about 1000 metres away. Ano Tyros is an original, quietly situated little mountain village with olive and juniper trees and a little viewing hill. Grocery shops, a pharmacy, a doctor, tavernas and a bank are down by the beach in the harbour town of Paralia Tyrou 3km away. A baker, fishmonger and vegetable seller come directly past the house weekly.

Authentically designed holiday apartment with a sea and mountain view, for up to five people, with a separate bedroom

This holiday apartment provides 110m² of living space and comprises a separate double bedroom, an open living room-bedroom with an integrated kitchen-diner and a daylight shower room. The natural stone walls and the vaulted ceiling are a reminder of when the house was built in 1850. Even so, it provides contemporary comfort and amenities with wireless Internet access, a flatscreen TV with a satellite receiver, an inverter air conditioning unit in the bedroom and a Scandinavian stove in the living room. The apartment therefore exudes an authentic and cosy ambience. The generous bedroom with direct access to the terrace is furnished with a queensize double bed (140 x 200cm). After a day trip you can sit on the suite in the living room with two armchairs and a single bed (90 x 200cm) right by the fireplace stove, with the flatscreen TV with a satellite receiver providing entertainment in the evening. Above the single bed, stairs lead up to the sleeping area on the gallery, where a fourth and fifth guest can sleep in a double bed (140 x 200cm). The kitchen is equipped with an induction hob and oven, a fridge and freezer, a toaster and a kettle. The bathroom has a walk-in shower cubicle with a shower curtain, a WC and a washbasin. Books, TV and board games are provided.

Next to the dining space on the terrace with an awning, there is a gravel area where you can play boules. There is also an outdoor shower for cooling off after sunbathing.

A connecting door on the terrace provides access to the outdoor area of holiday studio atraveo no. 1137550, if it is not occupied during your stay.

    “Wir haben hier mit unseren beiden Kindern eine tolle Woche verbracht. Wir mögen es gerne ein bisschen ruhiger und haben das Häuschen in dem kleinen Bergdorf, in dem es auch ein paar Grad kühler war als unten am Strand, sehr genossen. Die Ausstattung ist super, alles war sehr sauber und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Positiv: Das Haus ist traumhaft gelegennund wunderschön renoviert. Wer sich nicht daran stört, etwa 10 Minuten bis zu den nächsten Läden oder an den Strand zu fahren, verbringt hier eine wunderbare Zeit. Restaurant: Akrogiali - Wir haben hier sehr gut direkt am Meer gegessen. Ausflüge: Kloster Eloni und Leonidio - Beeindruckendes Bergkloster, dass an einem Steilhang klebt… etwas im Hinterland. Fahrt durch eine schöne Schluchtenlandschaft und Klettergegend. Leonidio ist ein schönes Städtchen mit netten Läden und Cafés.”

    “Wer Ruhe sucht und Nähe zur Einheimischen Bevölkerung der ist hier richtig. Das Objekt ist mit viel Lieb fast zur Perfektion Restauriert und gerade in der kühleren Jahreszeit hervorgeht zum bewohnen.
    Alles in allem empfehenswerte Anlage mit netter umliegender Nachbarschaft und sehr hilfsbereiten und kompetenten Vermietern.”

    “Das Häuschen ist ein Traum. Es hat Flair, wurde behutsam und geschmackvoll renoviert, ist bestens ausgestattet mit sehr guten Geräten, schönem Geschirr in sehr ausreichender Menge, alles was das Herz begehrt. Die Aussicht auf die Bucht ist herrlich. Das Haus war sehr sauber, mit ausreichend Handtüchern und frisch bezogenem Bett.”

    “Wunderschönes, sehr gepflegtes, geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Haus mit perfekter Ausstattung. Traumblick von der Terasse in die Bucht von Tyros und über Insel im blauen Mittelmeer. Der zehnminütige Weg vom Meer aus in den verschlafenen Ort in den Bergen lohnt sich.”
