Holiday house with four apartments and a big garden

Relaxation and adventure – very close to nature. All the apartments have been classified by the DTV (German Tourism Association).

The family-friendly holiday house with three three-star apartments (2-3 people), one four-star apartment (4-5 people) and a big garden is on a slope in a quiet residential area without through traffic and just 200 metres from the forest. The situation on a slope affords a beautiful view of the Harz landscape. The house is ideal for both short-term and long-term stays.

Children can play in the big garden with a swing, sandpit and slide, while parents relax. The cabin with garden furniture, a grill and garden games (a sledge in winter) is for the use of all the guests in the house. In the laundry room in the basement, washing machine and dryer are available free of charge.

There are parking spaces on site right in front of the door. You can leave the car parked and set out on foot. It is just 200 metres to the forest, with interesting destinations (Indian trail, limestone cave etc.) all around Bad Grund.

Recreational options in the locality: fishing, hikes, Nordic walking, brine and exercise pool, minigolf, bowling, clock museum, mining museum etc.

The nearest towns are Clausthal-Zellerfeld/13km (riding, glass blowing, mining museum, farming market on Bornhardtstrasse), Osterode/13km (wild birds), Hahnenklee/18km (Grane reservoir lake, Bocksberg cable car, summer toboggan, Stabkirche), Schulenberg/22km (Oker lake boat ride), Torfhaus/35km, Goslar/35km, Braunlage/38km (Wurmberg cable car), Schierke/48km (Brockenbahn).

Double apartment in the attic for families and couples

This double apartment is a special offer for couples, families, families with grandparents, or all groups seeking well-priced and comfortable accommodation for a pleasant stay in the Harz region.

A sliding door separates the little 2m² hallway between the two apartments from the stairwell. The two-room apartment (33m²) and the one-room apartment (27m²) can be combined as a residential unit with two shower rooms with a WC and two bedrooms, accommodating four to five people comfortably and providing ample privacy. The apartments themselves do not have hallways. The sunny apartment no. 2 has a pantry kitchen and a dining table in the living room. The double door can be opened wide to allow fresh air in and to enjoy a distant view. The living room provides access to the shower room or the bedroom with a double bed, a supplementary guest bed for older children or a travel cot. Games and books, as well as DVDs for children and adults, leisure information for the whole Harz and a telephone are available. Apartment no. 2 is the gathering place for everyone. Apartment no. 3 opposite has a living room-bedroom with a double bed, a shower room with a WC and a little enclosed kitchen with a round folding table, which can also be added next to the dining table in apartment 2. Games, books, information material, cable TV and a CD player are also available. The threshold-free residential units also have external blinds, fly screens and alarm clocks in the bedrooms, as well as condiments, kitchen roll and washing-up liquid in the kitchen. The natural wood furniture, antiallergic mattress covers, pillows and blankets in the bedrooms, easy-to-clean floors without carpets make the accommodation suitable for allergy sufferers.
