Activities in the area: visit the famous Goðafoss waterfall - the sight of huge amounts of water flowing down is really impressive! Drive to the beautiful Mývatn region, the largest nature reserve of Iceland. Inland waterways, which are traversed by lava residues, create an almost mystical atmosphere. You can also start directly from Akureyri walvoy tours. The Children's Farm Daladýrd is only approx. 11.5 km away or just walk to the nearby forest Vaglaskógur
