Charming holiday house at the heart of the Bauges massif, perfect for a holiday with family or friends

The holiday house for 6 people is in a quiet little village at the heart of the Bauges massif.

The ground floor has a garage where a car can be parked. At the end of the garage there is a heated laundry room with a sink, a washing machine and a dryer. There is a WC in a separate room. Stairs lead to the upper floor, where you enter into a 35m² room. The fully-equipped kitchen occupies about half of it and provides an oven, gas stove, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, kettle and ample crockery and kitchenware. You can enjoy meals at a high counter table with comfortable bar stools. The other half of the room is occupied by the living room area. You can relax on the big leather corner sofa. You can find a flatscreen TV and a Blue Ray DVD player. The bathroom with a toilet, washbasin and walk-in shower is half a floor higher. A few further steps up there is the first bedroom with two single beds (90 x 200cm). Small stairs lead from this bedroom to a mezzanine level, with two further single beds (80 x 200cm). Small stairs lead from the first bedrooms to the second bedroom with a double bed (140 x 200cm).

There is a balcony to the side of the kitchen. Some steps lead from the terrace with two garden chairs up into the big garden. Children will be delighted with the big trampoline, a 60-metre-long cable ride, a seesaw and a free-standing swimming pool (diameter 5.5m, depth 1.2m). Adults can relax on three deckchairs and admire the mountain landscape. There is also a sitting area with a big wooden table with two benches 2.5 metres long, as well as a parasol and a brick-built barbecue.

The holiday house with its loft style exudes a special charm. The beds are already made on arrival. The owner, who lives on site, provides a sack of charcoal free of charge for grill evenings. If you arrive with cars, these can be parking in a private parking area.

The location of the holiday house enables a range of outdoor activities: hikes, cycle tours, riding, climbing, paragliding, swimming, canyoning, along with skiing and snow shoe hiking in winter. Of course you can also scale the many peaks of the Bauges. Grottoes, waterfalls, the so-called Devil’s Bridge – the breathtaking Pont de l’Abime – and the surroundings of the Seran mountain river invite you to go exploring. You should also sample the regional products on site or at the markets. You can find shops in the nearby villages of Lescheraines or Le Chatelard. There is an excellent restaurant about a five-minute walk away from the house. The house is only about a 30-minute drive from the lakes at Annecy and Le Bourget.

    “Die Unterkunft ist vorbehaltlos zu empfehlen. Da man keine Türen schließen kann - mit Ausnahme des Bades- sollte man gegen Schnarchen immun sein. Positiv: Sehr sympathische Gastgeber, eine Kaution musste nicht hinterlegt werden, ein Traum von einem Holzhaus mit Garage, sehr schönem Garten, Pool. Negativ: Alles war perfekt. Restaurant: Chez Cyrille - Super Steaks und tolle Käsespezialitäten Ausflüge: Annecy - Tolle Altstadt, See und Wanderungen”

    “Dieses Ferienhaus ist wunderschön, der Garten riesig und die Gastgeber sind außergewöhnlich nett und hilfsbereit! In der Ausstattung fehlt es an nichts, man sollte allerdings wissen, daß Wohnen und Schlafen in einer Galerie offen und verbunden ist, es gibt keine abgeschlossenen Zimmer.
    Wir haben viele Hinweise zu den Wanderwegen bekommen und Tipps für die Umgebung, wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit!”
