Cottage View Lake Traunsee

Cozy country house, marvellous view to lake Traunsee and the surrounding mountains. Large garden with pool (from June to Sept.). House and garden invite you to relax and to enjoy the beautiful landscape of the nature park area of the lakes Attersee - Traunsee. Perfect place for hiking, water sports and sightseeing (e.g. Salzburg, Bad Ischl). And get to know what "Gemütlichkeit" really means! It is a resort area located in Austria. It stretches from the City of Salzburg eastwards along the Austrian Alpine Foreland and the Northern Alps to the peaks of the Dachstein Mountains. The main river of the region is the Traun, a right tributary of the Danube. The name Salzkammergut literally means "Estate of the Salt Chamber" and derives from the Imperial Salt Chamber, the authority charged with running the precious salt mines of the former Habsburg Monarchy.With its numerous lakes and mountains, the Salzkammergut offers many opportunities to take part in water sports, bathing, hiking, cycling, skiing, caving and golf as well as relaxing around lakes such as the Traunsee, Attersee, Mondsee, Grundlsee or Toplitzsee.     “Positiv: Ein wirklich schöner Urlaub, die Lage mit
    Blick auf den See ist toll. Auch der Pool und der Garten sind toll.Nun war es halt schon September, wir haben den Pool einmal genutzt. Bei tollem Wetter. War schon etwas kühl. Hatten unsere 2 alten Hunde dabei. Auch sie fanden den Garten klasse. Das Haus ist gross und bietet genügend Platz für alle, der Betreuer des Hauses war sehr nett und hat uns alles gezeigt. Bei Problemen hätten wir uns jederzeit an ihn wenden können Negativ: Es ist aber wirklich Kritik auf hohem Niveu.Das Haus innen is etwas verbaut, mit den 2 Treppen und die Räume etwas verwinkelt. Der Bodenbelag im oberen Bereich mit den roten Teppichböden, ist nicht ganz zeitgemäss. Die Einrichtung und die Bäder etwas old scool. Sollten evtl vieleicht nach und nach mal renoviert werden. Etwas befremdlich war das weder die Handtücher noch Bettwäsche im Preis inbegriffen war. Kannte ich vorher nicht, vieleicht in Östreich üblich.
    In den Wald mit den Hunden kommt man zu Fuss eher nicht. Ist zu weit.
    Aber wie gesagt Kritik auf hohem Niveu. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Würden das Ferienhaus auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen Freizeit: Gut Aiderbichl, etwa 1 Stunde entfernt in Henndorf, Kaiservilla in Badischl, Gmunden mit seinem schönen Rathausplatz , direkt am Wasser. Das Hotelrestaurant Grünbeg. Tolles Essen, sehr nettes Personal, Pizzeria Valentino, sehr schmackhaftes , italienisches Essen”
