Engadine Old Typical Mill

New: the house is equipped with a charging station for electric or plug-in hybrid veichles up to 22 kW.
It is an old typical Engadine mill situated in a fairy tale atmosphere at the limit of the forest that goes to Val D'Uina, rich of wonderful landscapes and breathtaking views, set among the rocks, the woods and the stream that flows impetuous. The house is at the end of a small but quaint old village of Engadine with its painted houses, old barns and ancient roads. Retains all the charm of the cosy and warm Engadine houses fragrant of cedar. Even the antique furniture typical of the region adds to the atmosphere the taste of the past. Equipped with all the comforts (there is also WIFI Internet), restored during the years and completely renewed in 2013, the house can accommodate up to 12 people, having 5 comfortable bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, one with bath, the other one with shower.
It is a house with 2 floors with a large garden all around, inside of which flows a small stream that creates a nice atmosphere of intimacy and direct contact with nature. Totally silent and reserved, but 10 minutes from all amenities, including an important ski resort (Motta Naluns in Scuol), a Wellness Center (Bogn Engiadina) with SPA, saunas, pools and therms, one of the largest in Europe. In Sur En there are a lot of sport activities: in summer horseback riding, archery, rock climbing, tree climbing (Waldseilpark), walks and hiking in the woods, collecting mushrooms, rafting and canoeing in the Inn, fishing, mountain biking, bowling green, children's playground, swimming. In winter, cross country skiing, ice skating path in the wood, ice wall climbing, ice curling, horse back riding. Not far (6 km) there is the beautiful Habsburg castle of Tarasp to visit. Nearby  (Tarasp Vulpera) you can find other outdoor swimmingpools, 2 golf courses (9 and 18 holes), tennis courts...
At about 35 km from Sur En you will find  the free zone of Samnaun (between Switzerland and Austria) where you can buy at a great price (Tax Free) watches, parfumes, clothes, technology, cigarettes,  petrol and more. There is also an extraordinary ski resort (Silvretta Arena) that will take you up to Ischl in Austria. There are 240 km of ski slopes and 45 ski lifts.
Actually Sur En is located between 4 major ski resorts (Scuol Motta Nalun at 5 km, Samnaun Ischl-Silvretta Arena at 35 km, Nauders in Austria at 15 km and St. Moritz at 60 km).
Sur En is also just 60 km from St. Moritz, where you can spend a day of skiing or shopping, going back in the day.
There is a bus stop at 50 meters from the house. From there you are directly connected with the ski resort in Scuol (Motta Naluns) and the train station of Scuol.
There is a bus that leaves 50 meters from the house and arrives directly at the Scuol cable car departures (Motta Naluns) and at the Scuol train station. There is also a bus that directly connects Scuol Station with the Samnaun Silvretta-Arena cable car.
It is also interesting to visit the city of Innsbruck (1.5 hours by car) with its Sissi palace and the famous Golden Dach and that of St. Moritz with its lakes frequented by sailors and windsurfers.
As for the interior: the living room has a large U-shaped sofa, see photo. There are also 2 separate dining areas, one with an oval table for 6/8 people, the other with a round table for 6 people that can then be extended to accommodate 12. The kitchen is equipped with a washing machine and dryer. There are 3 bedrooms with double beds and 2 bedrooms, one with 5 and one with 4 single beds.
Sports to do in the surrounding area: in summer Fishing, Climbing, Golf, Canoeing, Rock Climbing, Mountain biking, Paragliding, Bike trips, Rafting, Horse riding, Tennis, in winter Ice skating, Sledding, Alpine skiing, Cross-country skiing.

    “Wir genossen unseren Urlaub, trotz Regenwetter hatten wir immer genug Platz in dieser Unterkunft. Positiv: Die Lage und die Anzahl der Räume waren ideal für 2 Familien. Negativ: Schade sind es einfache Ikea-Betten, hier wurde am falschen Ort gespart. Die Sauberkeit der Küche liess zu wünschen übrig. Restaurant: Pizzeria Allegra in Scuol - feinste frische Pizzen. Reservierung erforderlich. Ausflüge: Schwimmbad Vulpera - Kleines und feines Schwimmbad, nicht überlaufen und familienfreundlich.”

    “Je ne conseille pas cette maison à une famille avec petits enfants ni aux personnes trop grandes, beaucoup de niveau différents ( portes et des plafonds). Positiv: Maison située au départ de chemins de randonnée et au calme Negativ: Beaucoup trop d'objets et de meubles inutiles dans la maison, les salles de bains très basiques et revoir toute la batterie de cuisine qui est très usagée.Espace extérieurs sympa mais les 2 terrasses ne sont pas de niveau l'aménagement pourrait être plus soigné ( c'est pourquoi l'évaluation est satisfaisante dommage car avec quelques aménagements cela pourrait être très sympa), les coussins pour l'extérieurs n’étaient pas propres.”
