Villa with a garden and a pool, with a view of the sea and the Aeolian Islands
The wonderful Villa Dimora dei Venti is in a quiet area and offers a breathtaking panorama. It is behind the fishing village San Gregorio, in the Scafa area.
The villa is on three floors. The ground floor comprises a kitchen, a sofa bed for two people, a bathroom with a shower and a washing machine, and a large terrace. The first floor has a large living room with a dining corner and a lounge area with two sofas, one of which is a sofa bed for two people, in front of the fireplace. This area can be separated from the rest of the room by a sliding door. There is also a bathroom with a shower and a large, roofed terrace with a sea view. The second floor consists of a bedroom with a double bed, its own bathroom with a shower and a panoramic balcony, a single bedroom, and a further bedroom with a double bed, its own bathroom with a whirlpool, and a panoramic balcony. The house has first-class furniture and is equipped with heating and air conditioning.
The villa has its own parking area and several panoramic terraces. There is a garden with access to the pool with a sea view, a lawn with a pergola and armchairs and ancient olive trees.
From the villa you can enjoy a wonderful view of the San Gregorio gulf, of the Orlando cape and the Aeolian Islands.
The villa is an ideal place to spend a relaxing holiday, a few minutes from the centre of Capo d’Orlando. There are many field tracks in the area for going on long walks. You can get to the various natural springs or little grocery shops where you can still find homemade bread baked in the wood oven and typical products of the Nebrodi mountain chain: sausage, cheese, wine and olive oil. The beach is about 4km away, 10 minutes by car. A bus runs from in front of the villa, taking you to the sea and Capo d’Orlando. There are supermarkets 2km away or in Capo d’Orlando. You can go on various trips: to the Aeolian Islands (from the harbour in Capo d’Orlando from May to September or the whole year from Milazzo 40 minutes away by motorway), to Etna, to Taormina, Palermo, Cefalu and the nature reserve of the Nebrodi mountains. You can also sail out to sea with fishermen and prepare the freshly caught fish in the fishermen’s restaurant.
