Holiday apartments in a country house, ten minutes away from Siena and located in the heart of the beautiful countryside of Crete Senesi


In beautiful Tuscany, ten minutes away from Siena, in the heart of Crete Senesi, on a hill opposite the famous "Site transitoire" work of art, is the old farmhouse. The scenic location offers a breathtaking view with different impressions in all seasons. You can let your gaze roam over the bizarre shapes of Crete Senesi, look towards Siena with the Torre del Mangia and see the hills of Chianti, Montalcino and Monte Amiata.

The property is located on the old, picturesque Via Laurentana and is surrounded by a fenced park of 13,000 square metres, where olive trees, oaks, walnut trees, typical cypress trees and many native herbs such as bay leaves, rosemary, lavender and sage grow.

During the restoration of the old farmhouse, a lot of attention was paid to preserve the original architecture and the materials used were also carefully selected. Only local and regional materials were sourced.

Holiday apartments

All apartments are very spacious and equipped with every comfort to meet the needs of the guests. Here too, the original character of the Tuscan farmhouse has been preserved. Old terracotta floors, chestnut ceiling beams and typical red bricks set the scene. The apartments are furnished with antique furniture that is family property, or that was purchased at antique markets - many of which can be found in Tuscany. All residential units have their own separate entrance.

The apartments in the main building benefit from the thick stone walls that inherently create a pleasant climate inside. The apartments in the adjacent building, (the old barn), have air conditioning with individual control.

On the ground floor, you can enter the living room with a large kitchen area and dining area, and a shower-bath. The sleeping area with a double bed is located on an open gallery.

A private outdoor area with table, chairs and a deck chair is available to guests of this apartment.

    “Le Crete Vacanze ist ein wunderschöner Ort um sich zu entspannen. Das große Haus Salvia und auch die anderen Appartements sowie der angrenzende große Garten mit dem Pinienwäldchen sind sehr gepflegt. In der Ausstattung ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht, um sich richtig wohl zu fühlen. Das mit altem rustikalem Material restaurierte Gehöft steht auf einem Hügel, wo man die Landschaft der Crete bis nach Siena sieht, die man auf jedem Bildband über die Toscana finden kann. Vor allem die Wolkenbildungen und die Sonnenuntergänge sind - nicht nur für Profifotografen - außergewöhnlich und atemberaubend schön.
    Le Crete Vacanze ist der ideale Ort um die Seele baumeln zu lassen.”
