Nostalgic and contemporary comfort in two holiday apartments with private terraces, at the heart of the historical old town


This heritage-protected baroque building from the 17th century, with two comfortably furnished holiday apartments, enjoys a quiet and central location free of traffic, by a little stream and very close to the historical market square in Quedlinburg.

The building is considered “the oldest original and preserved timber-framed building on Stobenstrasse”. It was built in 1686, renovated in 2001 and 2011, and now this guesthouse offers two holiday apartments, with an accomplished combination of a historical atmosphere and modern fittings. Holiday apartment atraveo no. 973122 is for two people and provides 62m² of living space with a separate bedroom and a 25m² roof terrace, while holiday studio atraveo no. 1005861 is for two guests and is on the ground floor with a garden terrace.

You can drive up to the house for unloading and loading. You can book an optional parking space per day.

Owing to the location at the heart of the old town, there are cafés, bars and restaurants awaiting your visit within 100 metres. There are also shopping facilities within the same distance. The historical town centre with its timber-framed buildings is a UNESCO world heritage site with many museums. There is a swimming pool 300 metres away.

Comfortable holiday studio with access to the garden terrace on the ground floor

The holiday studio welcomes you with a very cosy atmosphere, characterised by exposed supporting beams and carefully selected furnishing. The interior is characterised by an open concept, with a living and sleeping area with a double bed, bedside tables and reading lamps on either side and a pull-out sofa bed, and a cooking and dining space on the other side. In the middle of the apartment there is the separate daylight bathroom with a WC. You go along the hallway to the front door on the ground floor. You step inside into the living room-kitchen, with the lounge and sleeping area on the right. The wardrobe and dresser in front of and next to the bed provide ample storage space for your luggage. There is a modern flatscreen TV with satellite channels and a TV USB port and a compact stereo system (CD/DVD/MP3) for entertainment. The bathroom has a bath with a shower screen, a WC, a window and a washbasin with an illuminated wall cupboard and mirror. Here is a dining table with four chairs in the living room-kitchen. You can look out of the window at the well-tended garden. The kitchen provides all the necessary appliances and utensils for self-catering, including a four-ring hob with an oven and a cooker hood, a fridge, a coffee machine, a kettle and a toaster. A set of hand and shower towels, bed linen and the final cleaning are included, as well as wireless Internet access.

The hallway has an external door leading out into the garden and your private garden terrace, with a table, a bench and two chairs inviting you to relax outdoors, enjoying the flower garden.
