Beautifully situated with a view over Hornindalsvatnet you will find holiday home" Amerikanerbruket". "The name comes from the former owner of the house, Rasmus in Kjøs who emigrated to America in the early 1900s. Kjøs returned to Norway, married his Petra and built this house as colloquially called "Amerikanerbruket". The house is renovated, but this is still a holiday home with a lot of history. The holiday home has a large garden where children can run and play while mom and dad enjoy the morning coffee. There are many fine hiking areas nearby, and you can fish from the shore in Hornindalsvatnet. Here you can get both trout and eel. From the holiday home it is approximately 20 km to Stryn, and 80 kilometers to Ålesund. Ålesund is a city with a rich culture- and exciting history. (NB: low ceilings and small window in bedroom 3.)

    “Domek zastaliśmy czysty i zadbany. Duża łazienka. Kuchnia bardzo dobrze wyposażona: garnki, patelnie, toster, mikser, ekspres do kawy, mikrofalówka itd. słowem wszystko co potrzebne.
    Sypialnie wygodne i jasne.Widok na jezioro. W całym domu ogrzewanie elektryczne, które bez problemu może podnieść temperaturę. Oprócz tego piec żeliwny, właściciel zadbał również o drewno.
    Schody do sypialni na górę trochę strome ale to uroki takiej architektury.
    Przed domem znajdziemy grill leżaki, duży stół i krzesła ogrodowe. Po schodkach można wejść również do uroczego małego domku, idealne miejsce do zabawy dla dzieci. Są tam dwa normalnej długości łóżka więc można również tam spać.
    Położenie domku na górce powoduje utrudnienie dojazdu samochodem ale można zostawić auto na dole to raptem 20 metrów.
    Domek jest bardzo ładnie położony nad jeziorem Hornindalsvatnet (jezioro z uroczymi wysepkami). Obok domku płynący z góry potok przyjemnie szumi.
    Domek naprawdę godny polecenia, z charakterem i klimatem.”
