Holiday house with a terrace and a garden, in a quiet location at the heart of the Ardennes with a panoramic view of the surrounding hilly landscape
The terraced house was built onto the owners’ house and is at the heart of the Ardennes, on an elevation amidst the hilly landscape, in a rural and quiet location.
The ca. 90m² house is suitable for two adults and two children. It consists of a living and dining room with a sitting corner, a dining table and an open kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed (140 x 190cm), a bathroom with a shower, bath and WC, and a separate WC. Two children can sleep on the sofa bed (152 x 190cm) in the living room. All the rooms have heating and wireless Internet access is available free of charge in the kitchen.
The outside area includes a garden for your own exclusive use and a private roofed terrace with garden furniture and a grill. From there you have a wonderful view of the surrounding landscape. You can park your car right in front of the house.
A pet is only allowed on request, as long as it is not too big. E-bikes can be hired for a half-day or full day.
The house is ideally situated, in the midst of the Belgian Ardennes, and is therefore an ideal starting point for sports activities in this area, in winter and in summer. It is 6km to the nearest ski piste and the house is perfect for extensive cycle tours or hikes. The Ravel (former rail track that was converted into a cycling and walking path) is also around the corner. The famous cycle race stretch of the Belgian one-day race Liege-Bastogne-Liege, a classic, is practically on the doorstep. The nearest locality with an outdoor pool, shops, cafes and restaurants is about 3km away. The famous car racing track Spa-Francorchamps is only about 15km away, the Spa thermal baths about 10km. Those interested in culture can visit the pretty little town Malmedy just 10km away, while children are bound to enjoy the nearby Plopsa leisure park in Coo (ca. 10km).
