The structure lies on the hills overlooking the Island of Elba, in the municipality of Campiglia Marittima, a few kilometers from the sea of Baratti, San Vincenzo, Follonica and Livorno.
This is an ancient stone village of the '900 completely renovated with care to preserve its warmth and character. It is located on the top of the hills that dominate a beautiful countryside , a few kilometers from the beach of San Vincenzo, Baratti, Follonica and the port of Piombino (where ferries leave for the Island of Elba). The village is surrounded by wheat fields, with olive trees and sunflowers, but it is only three kilometers of the main services (supermarket, pharmacy ...)
It consists of 42 apartments and covers eight hectares near the main house and the castle. The old buildings have been restored with different volumes, shapes and positions depending on the use respecting the original Tuscan tradition, maintaining the same charm of stone, brick and clay roof tiles.
The whole village is enriched with fine finishes and common areas made of alleys, illuminated squares finely decorated with elegant flower beds and benches. On request are available apartments with air conditioning in all rooms, some have a private garden
Also available is a semi-circular swimming pool with sun terrace overlooking the entire valley, tennis court, barbecue area and a large playground for children.
It is located in an environment of great scenic, cultural and artistic itineraries: in front of a sea with beautiful beaches such as Torre Mozza, Carbonifero, Golfo di Baratti; near ancient cities like Volterra, San Gimignano, Massa Marittima, Campiglia Marittima and Suvereto; very close to the spas and wellness centers such as Calidario, the Etruscan necropolis of Baratti and its promontory.
Thanks to its central position, it allows you to reach the art cities such as Florence, Siena and Pisa.
The nearest airport is Pisa, about 90km. In the center of Campiglia Marittima there is the central station. The Genoa-Rome railway line arrives between the Livorno and Grosseto railway stations.

Antico Borgo Casalappi is located 10 minutes by car from the splendid beaches of the Carbonifera (9 km), in the natural park of Sterpaia. In 20 minutes by car you can reach Baratti or Rimigliano, other splendid beaches in the area. We are just 3 km from all services (restaurants, pharmacies, supermarkets, etc).Although close to all services and beaches, our structure is in a very private hilly position, for lovers of peace and splendid views. At our guests' disposal a panoramic swimming pool, tennis court, table tennis and a large sand play area.To visit within a distance 10/15 km the medieval cities: Suvereto, Bolgheri, Massa Marittima, Castagneto Carducci, Populonia, as well as the possibility of organizing wine tastings nearby.
It is a large apartment (about 75 square meters) on the ground floor with a comfortable garden (100sqm) equipped with table, chairs, umbrella and barbecue. Through a large window you access a large living room with dining area and kitchenette (the kitchen has a 4-zone hob, oven, fridge and freezer, as well as all the necessary utensils), TV and sofa bed, a large bathroom with shower; a staircase leads to the upper floor where there are two double bedrooms and another smaller bathroom with shower.
