Welcome to this cabin close to the centre of Sjusjøen. The cabin is divided into three rental units, with this property being the middle apartment. If you rent all three units (see also 1297560 and 1297561), there are a total of 30 beds. In 1297560 and 1297561, there is a door between the apartments; to get into 1297559, the main door must be used. The apartment is bright and modern, and with high ceilings in the living room it feels open and airy. There is a fireplace for chilly days. The apartment is located right in the heart of Sjusjøen, which means you have everything close by. Sjusjøen is a well-known destination with endless possibilities for nature experiences. There is both a bike hire shop and a fitness centre close to the cabin. The cycling opportunities on Sjusjøen are absolutely fantastic. Here you will find marked cycle paths that show you the way to the mountains. It is also recommended to experience the mountain on foot. If you want an easy hike for all ages, we recommend a trip around Lake Sjusjø. Here you can get around by bike, pushchair and wheelchair. There are several nice stopping points along the lake where you can take a break to enjoy the view and a picnic. For a more varied environment, excursions to Mostefjell, Snørvillen or Lunkefjell are a good alternative. Sjusjøen and the region also offers many great lakes for fishing, and you can catch pike and trout in Lake Sjusjø. There is also a great playground where children can play and adults can use the free barbecue. If you want a larger selection of fish, you can drive to the mountains and fish at Krok Lake and the Åsta River. From Sjusjøen it is only 30 minutes by car to Lillehammer. Here you will find good shopping facilities, a water park, family park and much more. Hunderfossen Family Park is a great place and suitable for the whole family. For smaller children we recommend Lilleputthammer.
