The cottage on a quiet road offers a beautiful view of the fjord of Roskilde. It is located on a fenced plot and in the first row to the water, mi direct footpath there. In any season can sit inside or outside and enjoy the beautiful view. In the house are two bedrooms, one has a sliding door. The house has a smart TV with Chromecast. A few meters from the house you can find the descent to the fjord, this is child friendly. The Store Havelse beach invites you to long walks and swimming. The house invites you to a comfortable stay surrounded by a cozy cottage ambience. It is also a good starting point for excursions. Worth seeing are the museum Vikingeskibet in Roskilde and with the cathedral also a UNESCO world heritage site. Frederiksværk is also a historic town with canons on the canal and a past as a steel mill town.
The authentic harbor town of Hundested offers something for all ages. Here you will find the house of polar explorer Knud Rasmussen with a fantastic view of the Kattegat. From June to October you can see beautiful sculptures in the active harbor in connection with the Sand Sculpture Festival. The area attracts many artists because of the special light, so you can visit many galleries and studios in town. The small visitor farm Tothaven near Kikhavn is a great experience for children with many different animals.
