    “Das Haus liegt abgelegen, aber mit dem Auto gut erreichbar. Von hier aus sind San Gimignano, Siena, Volterra, Florenz, Pisa und Lucca in ungefähr einer Stunde Autofahrt zu erreichen. Ein wirklich genialer Standortvorteil
    Diese Lage bedingt auch die Ruhe und Stille inmitten von Olivenhainen und Natur pur. Inklusive Stechmücken: dagegen unbedingt Schutz mitbringen. Der Pool gleich nebenan - er wird täglich morgens gereinigt - ist ein weiterer großer Pluspunkt. Ebenso die zwei getrennten Schlafzimmer.
    Die Innenausstattung strahlt leider gar keine italienische Gastlichkeit aus: ausgebleichte Stoffblumen, verblichene Bilder an den Wänden und dicke Wachstuchtischdecken. Die Geschirrzusammenstellung wirkt willkürlich: sechs Schnapsgläser, aber nur ein Frühstücksteller; ein Ölkännchen aus Glas, aber kein Schneidebrett. Für den Preis hätten wir uns in der Innenausstattung mehr durchdachte und ansprechende Zweckmäßigkeit gewünscht.
    Zum Glück gab's die Espresso-Kanne für die Herdplatte. Besteck ist ausreichend.
