Chalet Alouette

Sunny, quiet, cosy and well-kept flat surrounded by greenery. New open-plan kitchen (2022), large fridge, dishwasher, oven, ceramic hob. The living room is also very cosily furnished, with TV (incl. DVD player) and radio. The beautiful bedroom is furnished with new bedding (mattresses, duvets, pillows). An unobstructed view of the mountains and the countryside awaits you. Beautiful garden seating area with far-reaching views of the surrounding mountains. Open car park right next to the holiday apartment. The holiday flat is on the ground floor. The holiday flat is very suitable for senior citizens as there are no steps! The holiday flat is located near the village with various shopping facilities. Nearby public transport connection. There is a modern and very nice indoor swimming pool in the centre of the village and many excursion possibilities to the lake and mountains and the local recreation area Suldtal. Many hiking possibilities.

Other sports and leisure activities: All year round: indoor swimming pool with wellness, course and massage offers, paragliding tandem flights, helicopter tours, guided tour of the llama/alpaca farm, western-style horse riding, visit to the worm farm, Hatti adventure farm.

Summer: carriage rides, e-bike and mountain bike tours, alpine cheese dairy tours, botanical excursions, extensive network of hiking trails, guided village tours.

Winter: Skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing, cross-country skiing, winter hiking, snowshoeing, Christmas trail.

Excursion possibilities: Suldtal nature reserve: The impressive waterfall is around 20 minutes' walk from the Pochtenfall restaurant. In addition to easy and challenging hikes, the Suldtal offers numerous barbecue, picnic and recreational opportunities.
Niesen "the swiss pyramid": After a spectacular ride on the funicular railway, the view from the viewing platform at 2362 metres offers a fantastic 360° panorama of the imposing Bernese Alps, Lakes Thun and Brienz and across the Bernese Plateau to the Jura.
Jungfraujoch-Top of Europe: An unforgettable day trip to Europe's highest railway station in the high Alpine wonderland at 3,454 metres above sea level is a highlight of any trip to Switzerland.
Lakes Thun and Brienz: There are good boat connections on both Bernese Oberland lakes. While you enjoy a delicious meal or a glass of wine on board, your eyes glide over the lovely shores with their magnificent historic castles up to the highest peaks.

Village description: Aeschi (860 metres above sea level) and the slightly higher situated Aeschiried (1000 metres above sea level) are situated on a sunny terrace and offer a magnificent view of the surrounding mountain panorama and Lake Thun. The village is still characterised by agriculture, folklore and tradition. Away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, Aeschi offers peace, relaxation and unspoilt nature. Thanks to its central location, all the well-known excursion destinations in the Bernese Oberland are within easy reach. Aeschi can be reached quickly and easily by public transport (train to Spiez and bus to Aeschi/Aeschiried) as well as by private car.
Infrastructure: In addition to two grocery shops, Aeschi has a butcher's shop, two bakeries, a specialised cheese shop, two banks, a post office, a flower shop and a doctor.

    “Die Lage mit der umgebenden Natur war überwältigend. Die Austattung war sehr gut. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Der Preis war für für die Lage und Austattung absolut angemessen.”

    “Wunderbarer Aufenthalt. Positiv: Sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Empfang mit Kaffee und Weihnachtsguetsli war sehr herzlich. Auch durfte ich länger in der Wohnung bleiben, was ich sehr grosszügig fand. Habe für Ende Jahr gleich wieder gebucht. Negativ: nichts Restaurant: Restaurant Niesen, Aeschi - freundlich, grosszügig, feines Essen, hübsche Deko. Ausflüge: Schifffahrt Spiez nach Interlaken - Hübsche Fahrt mit dem Dampfschiff”

    “Würden die Wohnung jederzeit weiter empfehlen.
    Ist super gelegen, ruhig und doch in der Nähe vom Dorf.
    Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten wie Volg, Denner, Bäckerei und Metzgerei. Positiv: Ruhige Lage, heimelige Wohnung mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht.
    Sehr herzlicher Empfang mit Kaffee und Kuchen durch Fam. Baumann.
    Frischer Blumenstrauss und Süssigkeiten in der Wohnung.
    Tolle Aussicht ins Grüne und in die Berge vom Sitzplatz aus. Negativ: Haben nichts zu beanstanden. Restaurant: Restaurant Chemihütte - Herrliche Aussicht auf Thunersee und Brienzersee
    Auswahl sehr gut. Service und Freundlichkeit sehr gut. Ausflüge: Heimwehfluh bei Interlaken - Aussichtspunkt zu Fuss oder mit Nostalgiebähnli erreichhbar.
    Oben Rundweg und Kinderspielplatz.”

    “Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable à Aeschi. Positiv: Cet appart. est bien équipé et bien situé (tranquille), avec la terrasse donnant sur un champ. Les propriétaires nous ont très bien accueillis et sont très sympas. Negativ: Un petit point négatif : la salle de bains restait très humide, même avec la fenêtre ouverte, et on a du mettre les serviettes à sécher dehors.”
