Vacation home in VAFes with balcony

The lovingly restored, traditional holiday homes are located at the foot of the White Mountains, in the historic village of Vafes, near Georgioupolis. The village is idyllically situated, surrounded by cypresses and olive trees. From the balconies of the holiday homes you can enjoy an unrestricted view of the surrounding forest, the snow-capped peaks and the gorge of Krioneridas. In the holiday homes, stone floors, arches and wooden beams create a special feel-good atmosphere.

    “Vermieter war über unsere Ankunft offensichtlich überrascht, Unterkunft nicht fertig, trotz Ankündigung per email. Haben fast eine Stunde warten müssen. Dann war der obere Teil der Wohnung nicht frei. Sollte am nächsten Tag frei werden. Am nächsten Abend war der obere Teil der Wohnung dann angeblich immer noch nicht frei. Haben uns daraufhin beschwert - und plötzlich konnten wir doch in die Wohnung. Haben uns ziemlich veräppelt gefühlt.
    Wohnung insgesamt:
    Positiv:
    - Unterkunft aufwändig renoviert
    - 1x (nach einer Woche) wurden Bettwäsche und Handtücher gewechselt
    Negativ:
    - insgesamt nur sehr oberflächlich saubergemacht (viele alte Spinnweben und Staub, zwei Kaugummis an Wand und Boden, Gläser nicht abgespült, ordentlich Reis auf den Wohnzimmerstühlen, klebrige Flecken auf Nachttischen, zwei Kakerlaken, zwei tote Mäuse und Reste von Spagetti vor der Haustüre,...)
    - keine Reinigungsutensilien vorhanden (kein Besen, Kehrschaufel, Putzlappen, etc...), zwischendurch wurde auch nicht geputzt
    - Unterkunft sehr düster (vor allem im unteren Teil der Wohnung) und stickig/muffig. Klimaanlage war unbedingt nötig.
    - Türen z.T. nur sehr schwer (Außentüren) oder gar nicht verschließbar (Badtüre).
    - kein Föhn vorhanden (wie in der Beschreibung angegeben).
    - ein Klo ohne Klobrille und -deckel und Lüftung defekt.
    Sonstiges:
    - WLAN zwar da, aber fast kein Netz.
    - Sehr viele Stechmücken - Abhilfe mit viel Mückenspray ab Tag 2.
    Fazit:
    Waren schon oft in Griechenland und Kreta und sind gewiss nicht pingelig, haben uns hier aber leider weder willkommen noch wohl gefühlt.”
