A hidden gem in the Tuscan rolling countryside, raised 480 metres above sea level, Le Polle di Meletro, also known as "Il borgo della pace" with its fantastic panoramic terrace, woodlands and enviable position, resides near the small medieval village of Rivalto. With stunning views down the Valdera valley, the prominent location of the villa has maintained a sense of timelessness, peace and tranquillity. It is an oasis of calmness and harmony in which to indulge yourself and relax, but yet it is only 40 minutes’ drive from Pisa airport. The villa is surrounded by fertile soil that produces a range of superior vegetables, fruits and wine. The nearby fields are host to vineyards, olive groves, fruit trees and cereals, whilst the wooded hills are home to the famous ‘Rivalto’ Chestnut along with a rich selection of flora and fauna.



With 60 square meters of apartment at your disposal, two large bedrooms each with a double bed and two bathrooms, this is an ideal apartment for you to relax and unwind. A large dinning/seating area has been created with a fully equipped kitchen, should you wish to prepare some snacks. The large sofa in the lounge area of the apartment can be made into a large double bed. Situated on the first floor of the Villa, the apartment has beautiful vistas from all angles. Modern style furniture and fittings blend in beautifully with the traditional Tuscan décor. With its own seating area on the ground floor, you can enjoy the peace and quiet as well as enjoying the wonderful panorama as you look over the gentle rolling hills of the Valdera. The apartment name originates from the ancient road connecting the village of Rivalto village to the resort. La Lama Road known by the locals because it is the path of the annual race of carts, folk competition which is held in the spring.

The apartment has its own terrace, overlooking the sun terrace and swimming pool. Chairs, a table, umbrella and a BBQ are provided for the guests staying in the apartment. The villa has a Restaurante where they cook typic toscany.




Please note that the villa can only be reached via a road that has not been surfaced (gravel path of about 800 metres). As you leave the village of Rivalto you will see signs for Meletro along the road that leads to the villa.

The nearest beach is about 28 KM away. Rivalto is I Km from the villa, with a good range of shops and cafes in Chianni 3KM away., including a bank, ATM and post office. The villa is located close to many fanous Tuscan landmarks. The città d’arte include Volterra, San Gimignano, Palaia and Florence making this a perfect base to explore the whole of Tuscany. Distances: Pontedera (mainline train station) 20 km, Volterra 35 km, Pisa (airport) 40 km, Lucca 50 km, Florence 80 km, Siena 80 km.
