Everything is less than 20 minutes away by car. You can reach Freiburg's old town in 45 minutes by car - or you can go there for free with the Höllentalbahn.
In winter, the village has a small ski area with easy downhill runs and good cross-country skiing opportunities on groomed trails with a total length of 30 km.
