Le Nid welcomes you for a stay in the centre of the city of Carcassonne. You will be ideally located to visit the essential sites of the medieval city where you can do everything on foot! The Canal du Midi is only 5 minutes away from the gîte where you can do several activities (fishing, walking). Its location in the town and just a stone's throw from the historic centre of the Bastide means that you can take advantage of all the amenities within a maximum of 1km (restaurants, shops, museum, swimming pool, train station, theatre or even the cinema). From the Nid you can walk to the medieval town in about 20 minutes, also taking in the magnificent banks of the Aude and the 14th century Pont-Vieux. The Cavayère lake, which is lively in the summer months, is also an attraction for young and old. On site, the gîte has a private terrace with garden furniture and deckchairs to enjoy the Carcassonne sunshine. Numerous public parking spaces are available in the immediate vicinity of the flat. The flat is located on the 2nd floor in a quiet and secure building and comprises a living room with a sofa bed for 2 additional persons, a TV and a dining table. A built-in kitchen with an oven and a microwave. Two bedrooms with two double beds. An independent bathroom with a large shower, a toilet and a washbasin. Sheets, towels are included. WIFI - and end-of-stay cleaning  optional. Animals accepted under good behaviour. A baby bed is available on request.
