Sunrise Beach Villa, Bouka, south-east Corfu

DIRECTLY on the sandy beach of Bouka, only a short distance from the 2nd Town of Corfu, Lefkimmi.

Lefkimmi has approx 5,000 residents, and has retained many traditional elements, tall venetian style houses still stand, although many are un-renovated. It is one of the few places left in Corfu where you can often see local ladies in traditional dress, and it retains the relaxed family atmosphere so lacking in many newer resorts.

The house is our own personal dream villa, and we hope our guests will love it as much as we do.

'A PIECE OF PARADISE!'

WATCH THE SUN RISE FROM YOUR VERANDA and stroll down the garden path to the 'hidden gem' peaceful, safe, sandy beach. Or, relax by the large pool in the garden. With just 2 other houses in the area, the beach is practically deserted even in August. Very unusual in Greece, you can enjoy a personal section of beach for relaxing and sunbathing, and go straight from there into the sea.

1) 'A piece of paradise!

This is a breath taking spot, enhanced by the different viewpoints, the garden and pool areas, the terrace and then the second floor terrace, where you can marvel at the sea and mountain view which constantly changes colour, with a mesmerising effect. It is called sunrise beach house for a reason. Take a coffee on the second floor terrace and watch the sunrise over the mountains for an incredible start to your day.'

The property is so well appointed, you have all you need. It is incredibly clear that the fabulous, friendly hosts have been in the industry for many years.

We thoroughly enjoyed a stroll along the shore to the beach bar for a cocktail or spot of lunch, equally cooking in the fully equipped outdoor kitchen was fun while the lids played in the pool. The very close, quaint unspoilt town of Lefkimmi is charming with its riverside restaurants, whilst the town of Kavos is a short journey for the partygoers!

2) This villa is beautiful, spacious and well furnished with lovely luxury personal touches, all in a peaceful location. A large comfortable open plan area downstairs, everywhere immaculate. All the bedrooms have huge comfortable beds with quality bed linen and well-appointed en-suites. Plenty of exterior seating areas for relaxing, or eating, with a greasnorkelling. The large inviting pool has plenty of sun loungers and shade. Three well stocked supermarkets are 10 minutes’ drive and local tavernas are a 20 minute walk.


3) This is a breathtaking spot. A gorgeous house, fully equipped with everything you need, as if you were at home. Extremely clean and well maintained. Room cleaning a few days a week was a great bonus. Spacious rooms, a wonderful terrace from which you can watch the sunrise. The place is perfect for families with children - calm beach without other people, fine sand and shallow water. The pool is very well maintained and is real fun for the kids. The hosts are very kind and responsive. It was the perfect vacation for us. We found nice restaurants in the nearby villages, along the river in Lefkimmi.


4) Beautiful villa with fantastic hosts

Absolutely stunning villa We arrived very late at night after a long day of travel were immediately greeted by the stunning villa beautifully lit up with fairy lights all round the garden. Inside the Vila is extremely well appointed with everything you could possibly need. They even left a few groceries for the next day and some bottles of lovely local wine! Four good sized bedroom each with en suit meant no arguments over rooms. The view the next day was breathtaking you are literally right on the beach which even in august was quiet. The seawater was warm and you could walk out for good distance in the tranquil swallow sea, with it no higher than your waist. The beach is honestly gorgeous and not like other greek beach we have visited before as it’s entirely sandy. It was very reminiscent of Mexico. The pool area and outside kitchen are fantastic especially having a Fridge for drinks. The bbq was well used by us during our stay. Sunbeds very comfortably with little pull out tables. The pool itself was a lovely temperature, quite large and very pleasant to swim or relax in. A short stroll down the beach and you come across a very nice beach bar with lovely drinks and food
