17th Century former Knights of Malta House

The house is situated in a narrow pedestrian street, inaccessible to cars, in one of the famous 3 Cities, namely Cospicua, which lies on a peninsula right opposite Valletta. The street has retained its original flooring, walls and charm, despite severe German bombing in the Second World War, which caused widespread destruction in town.


There are two open public parking lots, only 50 metres away.



The ground floor has a wide hall with an enclosed central yard, a flanking shower/toilet. The hall leads into a fully-equipped large kitchen/dining room, which in turn is overlapped by a living room and 3 sofas and table on a wooden floor and above a wooden staircase.

The central yard staircase with balustrades leads to the first bedroom with its original 17th Century floor slabs and walls. This room is decorated with antiques.

The central yard staircase leads further up to the master bedroom with a bathroom en-suite and walk-in wardrobe.

The bedrooms are both air-conditioned with split-system Airconditioners.


The top floor is the open roof with rattan armchairs and table and parasol, and 2 very good sun beds with nylon.


The house dates back to the 17th Century and retains most of its original features like vaulted ceilings, recesses, marble and stone floorings and thick walls.

A water pipe and plants and 2 waterproof electrical sockets are also available.


A water pump accelerates the water pressure in the whole house.


The roof offers Street and Town views.




Wifi reach extends throughout.


Coffee, Tea, Grinder, spices, herbs, Salt, Sugar, and cooking utensils as well as cutlery and crockery amply available.

The aesthetic fortification walls are in the immediate vicinity, where the Tuesday morning market is also set up.


The city centre is only 80 metres away. The main city centre of the adjacent city of Vittoriosa is only 350 metres away. Here most of the restaurants can be found as well the famous St. Laurence church and a number of museums.

The Grand Harbor Marina with s enrich views throughout is also only 300 metres away. A very regular passenger ferry takes you to Valletta in only 5 minutes.
