Casa Melita is an authentically 400 year old house of character situated in the historical village of Rabat. This beautiful 3 bedroomed house, which has been recently restored to include modern comforts lies in a peaceful pedestrian road close to St Paul parish church and village core.



All the downstairs rooms surround a sunny courtyard, with barbecue facilities and full privacy. The ground floor includes a wide entrance hall, a fully-equipped separate kitchen and dining area and a lovely lounge/ living room, complete with satellite television. There is also a guest toilet on the ground floor.



Access to the first floor is through an internal stone staircase. On the first floor you'll find three double bedrooms, one with ensuite bathroom facilities. The main bathroom is also found on this floor.



Access to the roof terrace is through a wrought iron spiral staircase. On this floor you can enjoy a lovely roof terrace from where you can admire the surrounding old and peaceful villages. This rustic house is beautifully furnished and delightfully blends antique and Swedish-pine furniture.

    “Casa Melita ist ein vor einigen Jahren restauriertes 400 Jahre altes Stadthaus im typisch maltesischen Stil. Es befindet sich in einer engen Gasse (nur für Fußgänger) in zentraler Lage von Rabat. Mit dem Auto oder Taxi kann man nicht direkt vorfahren.
    Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll aber einfach. Es ist alles notwendige vorhanden. Das WLAN funktioniert gut. Der Innenhof ist in der warmen Jahreszeit sehr praktisch. Für Senioren ist zu beachten, daß die Schlafzimmer sich in der obersten Etage befinden und durch eine Steintreppe erreichbar sind. Alle Sehenwürdigkeiten von Rabat und Mdina sind fußläufig in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen.”

    “Für den günstigen Preis wirklich in Ordnung, liegt in einer mit Blumen geschmückten kleinen Straße (nur für Fußgänger). Falls man mit dem Auto kommt muss man "am freien Markt" einen Parkplatz suchen was nicht immer einfach ist. Vorteil: das Haus liegt mitten in Rabat, alles in der Stadt + Mdina ist leicht zu Fuß erreichbar. Viele (gute) Restaurants in der Nähe, kleiner Supermarkt, Bäcker, Friseur...
    Das Haus hat einen kleinen Innenhof was bei hohen Temperaturen (wir hatten 34 Grad) sehr angenehm ist. Die Zimmer haben keine Klimaanlage, aber Ventilatoren.”

    “Das Haus liegt in einem ruhigen Gässchen im Ort Rabat. Die Ausstattung ist mehr als ausreichend. Alles war sauber und in einem ordentlichen Zustand. Gerne wieder! Gastronomie gibt es in unmittelbarer Nähe jede Menge. Kleine Lebensmittelgeschäfte gibt es auch einige, der Bäcker ist ums Eck.”
