Holiday house with a garden and a sauna, right by the river and the embankment
Pure relaxation behind the embankment, amidst pastures and apple orchards, right by the waterway and just 800 metres from the Oste – all of this is offered by this thatched brick house.
There are two bedrooms. The cosy kitchen is fully-equipped with a ceramic hob and oven. The house is fitted with central heating. A tiled fireplace stove in the living room exudes cosy warmth. The bathroom has a shower, bidet, washing machine and dryer.
You can use a little sauna free of charge in a wooden shed, overgrown by vines, ivy and clematis – ideal after long walks or cycle tours through the picturesque surroundings.
You step through the kitchen door and have a direct view of the Rönne. The centuries-old former workers’ house is on a tiny, island-like garden site between the Rönne with an abundance of fish and the Rönndeich – a still waterway and a quiet road, often with more cyclists and riders than cars. Away from the Rönne there are extensive apple orchards, typical of the region. Apple juice made of local fruit can be purchased nearby at the Hofmosterei. There is a beekeeper at the end of the road offering homemade honey. The Rönndeich was famous as the home of many crime authors and many crime novels are set in the area. The books can be borrowed free of charge.
It is ideally situated for cycling and river tours, fishing enthusiasts and divers. The house provides ample space for four people, or six if necessary. It has been classified as three-star by the German Agricultural Association and been awarded the “Country Holiday” seal. It has a generous atelier under a thatched roof with a wonderful view over the Feldmark and the idyllic Rönne, a tributary of the Oste.
