The white sandy beach offers a fantastic backdrop for kite flying, wind surfing, horse riding, land sailing, walking and of course sunbathing. Children can play to their hearts’ content in the nearby playground or mini-golf course. During summer, Rindby, the indoor playland in the Rødgård Camping Centre, can be used free of cost. On the way to Sønderho, you can play games and have fun for long hours in the forest playground. You can also enjoy a picnic with your loved ones. Walk through the narrow, curved streets, visit cosy restaurants and good shops in Sønderho, which has a charming atmosphere. During summer, Nordby also offers wide range of shops, cafes and bustling activities. You can visit the galleries and open-workshops of artists that exude a unique atmosphere in both towns. The fantastic nature and topography of Fanø, located in the middle of the National Park Wadden Sea, makes it ideal for hiking and biking. You can go on a guided hiking tour and experience the many specialities of Fanos like rich birdlife, oyster beds and sandbanks with seals. Especially, the tides of Wadden are amazing. Fast changing water levels are well visible from the beach of Sønderho. On your arrival here, you can experience beautiful culture, wide ranging activities, numerous attractions and captivating nature.
