Holiday apartments in the midst of a lemon grove, with a green garden

The casale was created from an old farmhouse, built at the end of the 19th century in the countryside near the town of Sciacca. It is located on the south-west coast of Sicily, between Agrigento and Selinunte, the archeological excavation sites and the Thermae Selinuntinae. Nowadays the house is in classy urban surroundings, surrounded by typical Sicilian citrus trees and a green garden, but just 200 metres from the centre of town. The location is therefore ideal for those seeking peace and quiet, but who would still like to enjoy the convenience of being in town.

The farmhouse, completely renovated in 2011, has seven comfortable apartments, which combine the charm of the typical Sicilian building style that features regional stone with the convenience of modern technology (internet access, air conditioning, LCD TV, satellite TV, CD player etc). The casale provides access to a laundry room and an Internet point during office hours.

The management of the casale is always happy to attend to any queries guests may have, and to provide advice and suggestions with regard to their stay, such as recommendations for visiting monuments, sights, or cafés, restaurants, pizzerias, shops, markets and other useful places. So you will be able to put together the perfect holiday in this tourist hub in the south-west of Sicily, a region that was already a popular holiday destination for the European aristocracy in the 17th and 18th centuries, owing to its archeological sites, nature reserves and areas of geological interest etc.

The apartment Jacaranda (about 70 square meters) located on a single floor. It can accommodate 6 +1 in this way: two in the master bedroom, two in the second bedroom; two in the third bedroom and one in the sofa-bed in the living room.

The apartment is composed of a living room with kitchen corner with oven with four burners, oven, fridge-freezer, dining area with table and four chairs and living area furnished with sofa bed, furniture with drawers, LCD/ satellite TV with CD player. The master bedroom offers a double bed with wrought iron headboard, bedside tables, large wardrobe. The second bedroom is equipped with two single beds with wrought iron headboard, bedside table and wardrobe. In the third bedroom there is a bunk-bed for two people, bedside table, and wardrobe. The two bathrooms are standard bathrooms with shower.

To this apartment belongs a private garden with green area, sun umbrella, garden table, 8 chairs, a chaise lounge and a barbecue.

    “Wir waren eine Woche hier und haben uns wohl gefühlt. Bei unserer Ankunft könnten wir problemlos das Appartement tauschen, da das eigentlich gebuchte Appartement Richtung Straße lag und dort war es auf Grund einer Baustelle sehr laut. Die Wohnung war ziemlich neu und modern ausgestattet. Außer den bellenden Hunden der Nachbarschaft hat uns nichts gestört. Das Haus liegt in guter Distanz zur Altstadt und zum Hafen, sodass abends das Auto stehen bleiben konnte.”

    “Siamo stati una decina di giorni al casale LA Zagara e ci siamo trovati molto bene. La casa è ben ristrutturata, il nostro appartamento con giardino era ben rifinito. I proprietari sono stati disponibilissimi a dare informazioni sui posti da visitare, spiagge e ristoranti. E' molto tranquillo e comunque comodo al centro di sciacca, 10 minuti a piedi e anche al porto turistico. Le spiagge distano dai 2 km in avanti. Lo consi”

    “Casale molto bello e ben ristrutturato. Arredi nuovi e curati e pulizia impeccabile. I proprietari sempre presenti e molto disponibili e gentili.

    Contesto in mezzo ai condomini ma dà l'impressione di essere isolati. Noi siamo andati con il nostro cane ed è stato accolto senza alcun problema, anzi!.

    Kit di benvenuto per la prima colazione (utilissimo) e tutto il necessario come olio aceto caffè e acqua fresca nel frigorifero.

    Una sola lavatrice per tutti gli alloggi ma comunque si riusciva sempre ad utilizzarla.”
