The small stone house surrounded by nature & farmland is lying in the small village, Morinka (342 m alt.), dated on 14’th century. Morinka is part of the Natural Park “The Czech Karst”. On the opposite side of the road is the Menhir Hill, where you have a view over the whole Berounka river valley and Brdy hills. Charles IV, the famous Bohemian King & Roman Emperor, would travel through Morinka when he wished to visit his castle, Karlstejn (ca. 3 km’s walk through the fields and forest). “Nova Amerika” the giant flooded quarry as well as the famous Koneprusy caves are 10 – 15 min drive. Nizbor glass works (26 km) are open for excursions. Beroun, the royal town from the 13th century, with its historical centre and park with bears is 19 km away. As activities should be mentioned the possibilities for hiking, biking, swimming, tennis, golfing, canoeing, horseback riding, not to forget the possibility to visit and explore the remarkable castles laying relative close. Also Prague is very accessible, only 20 km from Prague 5, Zlicin, with parking possibilities and access to the Prague Metro system. The owners speak English, German, Czech, French, and Danish, Swedish, Norwegian.

    “Also ich fand das Ferienhaus sehr schön und der Vermieter war auch sofort für einen da. Was auch sehr gut ist, dass man ruhig die Tür auflassen kann und der Hund nicht weglaufen kann, da um das Grundstück herum ein Zaun gezogen ist. Die Gegend ist auch schön ruhig und sehr schön für Spaziergänge und Fahrradfahrten.”
