The holiday park Oignies is located in the Viroin-Hermeton region, 2 km away from the village of Oignies and just 4 km away from the French border. This resort is especially attractive due to the well-maintained bungalows that are located in the middle of a forest area spread over 12 hectares. Guests can either rent a semi-detached house or an independent house for a family. The park is well equipped and functional. The facilities provided include a playground, a zoo, and a shared laundry, which you can use for a fee. The living room is furnished with a sofa bed for 2 people. Cot and high chair are available on request. A higher deposit is collected from youth groups and school classes. The resort was recently completely renovated. It offers guests the warmth and comfort of a typical bungalow made of wood, where you can simply relax and unwind. The houses are located far apart from each other so that you can have a peaceful stay in harmony with nature here. With a little luck you may even come across a deer, squirrel or wild boar. Thiérache, the region around Oignies is a delight for anyone who loves vast forests and natural surroundings. The foothills of the Ardennes offer a great backdrop for long walks or bike rides through this region. In winter you can go cross-country skiing and alpine skiing here. Some other places worth exploring are - Espace Arthur Masson, the slow train of Nismes, the Malgré-Tout museum, the Prehistoric Park Treignes, Castle Fagnolles, the caves in Petigny and Couvin and the scenic spots, Le Chien of Fandry, Le Barrage du Ry Jaune and Lhomme à la Roche.
