In the heart of the splendid Ossau valley, you will discover the village of Laruns where you will spend unforgettable holidays in a charming apartment of a property (the friendly owner lives on the ground floor). You will enjoy an inviting terrace offering beautiful views on the mountains. Summer and winter, many activities await you: cinema, covered public pool, exhibitions on the Falaise aux Vautours, health cures with hot springs, hiking or horse riding, canoeing, fishing (with a license or not) in the Gave (a fishing day pass is available), ski, snowshoeing... Make sure to take the famous little train of Artouste (20km) for spiralling up to 2000 meter high and admire a breathtaking panorama on the Pic du Midi d’Ossau! Do not forget to taste the local specialties such as the garbure, the poule au pot or the mountain cheeses in the nearby restaurants. Pau is 40 km away, the ski resort of Gourette is 15 km and you can even go for a day trip to Spain.

    “Lage sehr gut, Gebäude mit "musealem" Charakter, Vermieterin freundlich (aber mit Grundstück und Haus überfordert), Hausinneres und Wohnung oberflächlich sauber bis unsauber, Garten/ Terrasse nicht nutzbar, Wohnung sehr einfach augestattet, Ausstattungsmängel: kein WC- u. Küchenpapier/ Tücher, keine Filtertüten, kein Spülmittel, Handtücher noch brauchbar, Abfalltrennung wegen fehlender gelber Tonne nur über Nachbar illegal möglich, der Aufforderung (vor dem Abreisetag) zur Endreinigung wurde mit Hinweis auf die bei Ankunft gezahlte Pauschale von 40,-€ nicht nachgekommen”

Just to clarify; a cleaner intervenes at the end of each stay and a gardener is employed regularly to take care of the garden so tenants have full access to the garden and the terrace area. Bags are available for recycling purposes. If you feel that something is not up to standard during your stay, it's important to contact the owner so that he can intervene to make the stay as pleasant as possible."Thank you for your comments concerning your recent stay in France. The furniture is of a rustic
    style however all equipment was renewed in the last 5 years and the place is repainted every 2
    years. The caretaker has been contacted to ensure that a 'welcome pack' is included for each arrival
    with at least a toilet roll, kitchen roll and a cleaning product for toilet/bathroom. Once again, we
