    “Zentrale Lage für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. 10 Autominuten nach Ullared für Lebensmittel- und weitere Einkäufe (Gekas!). Am Björkasjö gibt es eine kinderfreundliche Badestelle mit kleinem Strand. Das Dorf Köinge selbst ist nicht sehr fußgängerfreundlich, man kann nur an der Straße entlanggehen und muss für Spaziergänge oder Wanderungen immer erst ins Auto. Es gibt einen Imbiss, einen kleinen Baumarkt und den kleinen Elektroladen des Vermieters, das war's. Insgesamt wirkte der Ort etwas ausgestorben, vielleicht lag das auch an der Urlaubszeit.”
