    “Mallnitz is een kleine plaats maar het heeft wel iets. Als je komt voor rust, ruimte en wandelen is het een prima uitgangspunt. Wij waren met de trein maar hebben geen moment een auto gemist.
    Wij kregen een kaartje voor de "Wanderbus" waar je dus gratis mee kan reizen. Deze bus zet je af bij bijvoorbeeld de Ankogelbahn, Jamnigalm of Wolliger Hutte. Als je na een wandeling terug wilt kan dat ook weer, de bus rijdt volgens een schema wat bij de halte hangt. Met het "Wanderbus" kaartje mochten wij ook nog gratis een dag een electrische fiets huren.

    Mallnitz heeft een station, je zit met de trein met 20 min. in Spittal-Milstatter see en een uur naar de Worthersee. De treinrit er naartoe is prachtig met mooie uitzichten.( korting op kaartjes met de Karnten karte)
    In het dorp zijn diverse restaurants, een bakkertje, een tabakshop waar ze de krant verkopen en een grote supermarkt. Dus alles aanwezig.”
