    “Ruhiger Ort in der Nähe von Ischgl. Brötchen gibt es in einem kleinen Lebensmittelladen, ansonsten kann man hier auch essen gehen und die Bushaltestelle erreicht man in 2 Minuten. Von hier kann man sehr gut zum Berglisee wandern. Der Tierpark ist fußläufig in 10-15 Minuten zu erreichen. Der nächste große Supermark ist in Ischgl.”

    “Mathon ist ein ruhiger Urlaubsort mit besten Busverbindungen nach Ischgl, wo man ausreichend Möglichkeit zum Einkaufen hat. Mathon selbst hat einen kleinen Bäcker, bei dem man frische Brötchen und das Wichtigste kaufen kann und ist damit bestens ausgestattet. Schöner Ort, wir waren zum 8. Mal dort.”

    “Einkauf in Mathon nur in einem kleinen Laden möglich, wo es das Nötigste gibt. Morgens (außer Sonntag) gibt es hier auch frische Brötchen - am besten am Vorabend vorbestellen! In Galtür in Ischgl gibt es dann auch jeweils einen Supermarkt. Der in Galtür hat auch Sonntagvormittags geöffnet.

    Wie gesagt, mit der Silvrettakarte kann man vieles kostenlos nutzen - einfach super! Der Ort ist sehr klein und schnuckelig, es gibt im Sommer 3 Restaurants, die man besuchen kann. Das Restaurant/ Hotel Glöckner ist hier besonders zu empfehlen!

    Es gibt viele tolle Wanderwege, einen schönen Bach unter dem Ort mit tollen Wanderwegen nach Ischgl und Galtür. Gerade auch die Besuch des Silvrettastausees, umliegender Hütten, des Waldbades in Ischgl, der Idalp uvm. kann man nur empfehlen!
    Wer abends Halli-Galli und Party braucht, sollte nach Ischgl gehen. Wer Ruhe sucht ist in Mathon richtig! Für Raften und ähnliches muss man bis Landeck fahren (ca. 30 Minuten mit dem Auto).”
