    “Montevarchi zelf is een zeer rustige plek met slechts enkele eet- en drinkgelegenheden in het centrum (wel aangename plekjes). Verwacht je daar dan ook niet aan veel toerisme. Je kan wel vrij eenvoudig en gratis je auto parkeren aan het station om zo naar het centrum te gaan. In de buurt van het centrum zijn ook verschillende grote winkels met alle voorzieningen.
    De Toscaanse streek is zeer uitgestrekt en mooi. Via de kronkelwegen kom je verschillende kleine en authentieke dorpjes tegen waar je wijn kan drinken en iets eten zonder de toeristische drukte. Door de ligging van Montevarchi kan je ook eenvoudig naar Firenze (trein), Pisa, Lucca, Arrezzo, Siena en Livorno.”
