    “Oudemirdum ist ein kleiner, hübscher und ruhiger Ort. Man kann zu Fuß ans Meer laufen (ca. 3km) und es gibt einen günstigen Fahrradverleih. Für einen Großeinkauf, ist es besser nach Balk zu fahren (ca. 10 min mit dem Auto). Kleinigkeiten gibt es auch im Ort.”

    “Das nötigste ist vorhanden, Bäcker, Schlachter und Mini Supermarkt und ein paar Lokalitäten. Der Strand ist sehr klein und kostenpflichtig - allerdings sauber! Das Ijselmeer ist nur dort zu betreten - jedenfalls haben wir keine kostenfreie Möglichkeit entdeckt. - Hier ist Makkum definitiv als Badeurlaub viel empfehlenswerter.
