    “Schöner, langer Stadtstrand mit sehr sauberem Wasser. Die Burg von Sesimbra ist einen Besuch wert, Ausflugsziele in der Nähe (Cabo Espichel, Sierra da Arriba), Lissabon ca. 45 Min. Autofahrt entfernt.

    “Sesimbra ist ein Fischerdorf, das sich in den letzten Jahren zu einem Ferienort entwickelt hat. Es gibt dort (so die Portugiesen) den besten Fisch der Welt. Empfehlenswert ist u.a. das Restaurant 'Lobo do Mar' (vorher reservieren!). Zahlreiche Einkaufsmöglichkeiten findet man in naher Umgebung oder auch in dem nur 40 min entfernten Lissabon. Der Sandstrand in Sesimbra ist groß und sehr gepflegt, und per Bootstaxi kann man zu nahe gelegenen kleineren Stränden gebracht werden (reservieren im lokalen Tourist Office). Die Region ist ein Naturschutzgebiet, in der man Delphine beobachten kann (von Setubal aus, mit 'Vertigem Azul'). Empfehlenswert ist auch eine Tour zum Cabo Espichel, mit Besichtigung des Leuchtturms.”
