    “Der Ort Benagil verfügt selber über keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Aber das ist ja an der Algarve normal und ein Auto ist ein Muss. In 10 Minuten Entfernung gibt es diverse Supermärkte. Mit der Mülltrennung ist es so eine Sache. Kann man machen, wird aber nicht immer gemacht...
    Gatronomie in Benagil ist ausreichend vorhanden, Tischreservierung ist aber ein Muss, weil es sonst schwierig wird mit den Plätzen. Die Außenplätze im O´Algar bieten eine tolle Aussicht.
    Sehenswürdigkeiten in Benagil sind die berühmten Grotten, die man entweder schwimmend (trainierte Schwimmer), per Kajak oder durch kommerzielle Bootstouren erreichen kann. Am Praia Carvalho können Mutige auch von den Klippen ins Wasser springen. Schnorcheln ist sehr empfehlenswert.
    Sagres ist einen Tagesausflug wert, ebenso die Bootstour von Portimao nach Silves (dort gibt´s das beste Frango Piri Piri der Algarve, Restaurant Valdemar).”
